CHAPTER 3
The Gcabashe Empire.
Insert 3.
Nkosazana Gcabashe.
i waited for my mother to arrive from work, but unfortunately, my so-called father found me waiting along with his precious daughter. he tried talking to me, but i went mute on him. He can't be pretending to be the best father, whereas he knows he hates me. after all that, he blames my mother for it? bullshit.
kea: ohh sweetie, hi.
me: Hey.
kea: missed me?
she said, smiling, taking off her high heels. How does she manage to stand all day long with those?
me: mom, can we talk?
kea: Sure, sweetie, let me freshen up first ill....
me: i really don't have more time to wait. Is it true that you're the one who told dad not to hand any of his businesses to me but to his sons?
phakamile walked in, drinking his whiskey. They glanced at each other before he could sit down facing us.
kea: Yes, i.... i did.
me: Why would you do that, mom? am i not fit enough to handle them?
kea: i don't want you to live the life i lived, i don't want your family to live the life we lived.
me: Which family? because im not married, mina. i don't have kids to protect.
kea: That's the thing zana, when will you and likhona get married? it's been years now.
i sighed. Why are they all about marriage now?
me: mom, why am i the only one who's not being allowed to handle the business all because of a marriage thing? kanti, why aren't you asking nkosinhle and nkosenye to settle down?
kea: they're.... sweetie, they're the heads of the house. It's a must for them to...
me: i thought you loved me, mom, yazi, i really thought you did.... i thought you do love me. since you both see me not fit enough to handle those businesses, then i might as well get my flat ass out of here. It's obvious that i....
i pause swallowing my lump, i stood my forcing my smile.
me: so much for being my mother.
kea: zana listen.... i...
phakamile: nkosazana!
i just walked out to my car and drove off to the club. Only booze will less stress me.

Nkosinhle Gcabashe
nkosenye laughed hard at me. What is funny in trying new things?
nkosenye: wanna do what?
me: You heard me.
nkosenye: hayibo bafo, dad just said he'll hand the businesses over to us and you wanna start partying and fuck around?
me: i never said i wanna fuck around, i wanna see if I'll feel what i felt ealier.
nkosenye: hayi there's no thing called feelings my bro, what you felt was just a lust but fucking a married wouldn't be a bad thing.
me: right?
he looked at me surprised, i smirked heading to take a shower. i dripped in my skinny jean and oversized tee along with a cap on my head, i put on my white sneakers and walked downstairs where nkosi was busy on his phone. his jaw dropped upon seeing me.
nkosenye: you and drip never went along.
me: i guess now we do.
nkosenye: no because you always wanna look like a businessman, what happened?
me: pearl happened.
nkosenye: the married woman?
i winked and led the way out. i called baba's best friend son (mongezi) since he's the only one im closed to, nkosenye locked the door and drove off, i reversed my car and locked the gate before driving off following him.
we arrived at the pub, music was really loud busting my ears so we went to the VIP section where mongezi was with his friend he told me he'll come with. we fist bumped as likhona walked in..
likhona: who decided to finally join us?
mongezi: im shocked.
me: y'all be acting like i never came to the club before, why kanti?
nkosenye: you've always locked yourself up busy working with dad, now you finally wanna smash?
me: fuck you.
they laughed as our booze came, we kept drinking as the strip girls came and did their job on us.... my twin is already out of my sight, gone with one of the girls.
mongezi: look at lungile being a man whore like he isn't married and you're damn single but you keep pushing girls away.
me: he's married? where's the ring?
mongezi: ehh baba when we go out with the guys we take off the rings, that's the first rule.
me: y'all crazy.
i said gulping down my beer, he took his burning blunt and pulled few puffs before handing it over. i pulled two puffs before letting out the smoke.
mongezi: but lungi is crazier, you can't be cheating on this.
i almost chocked from my saliva seeing the very same pearl that makes my heart go on a race.
me: she's his wife?
mongezi: mm.... she's a nurse and work as a waitress on her off days.
me: wow she's a hard worker.
mongezi: you can say that again, this woman is all a man need bafo but my dear friend here doesn't see that.
me: he will finally realize that when they snatch her away from him.
mongezi: well she's loyal, they tried but failed maybe that's why lungile is taking advantage of her.
well i haven't tried but when i do, i won't fail like others.
lungile: gents lemme *whispers* go and chow these hunnies.
me: threesome?
lungile: why not?
he winked and walked away, if he's having fun here then his wife having fun with me won't hurt. i smirked to the thought and sipped on my drink.
to be continued.
