The Second Princess

When Prince Mulalo begins to dream of his dead brother demanding to know where his wife is, he seeks answers from the royal seer. But the prophecy he receives chills him to the bone: if the dead cannot reclaim his bride, the living will be taken in her place.

Across the kingdom, Princess Nonhlanhla Maluleke is suffocating under duty and expectation. Her brother’s wedding should be a day of celebration, but to her it feels like the tightening of chains she cannot escape.

When fate forces Mulalo and Nonhlanhla into each other’s path, they discover their lives and hearts are already entangled by something far greater than themselves. Bound by prophecy, torn between loyalty and forbidden love, they must decide whether to defy the will of the dead… or surrender to it.
