📖 STORY SYNOPSIS

Deep in the forest on the outskirts of Edo State stands a grand, decaying mansion, empty for over sixty years and avoided by locals. Four ambitious filmmakers arrive to shoot a documentary, dismissing the warnings as old tales. But as dusk turns to night, the house reveals its true nature: the shadows are not just absence of light — they are living, watching, waiting.

Guided by the mysterious Mama Ebiere, they learn they have trespassed into a place where the line between the living and the spirit world is thin. An ancient entity known only as The Dark One has claimed the house, and it does not chase its victims — it lets them run, hides in every corner, and grows stronger the more afraid they become. What starts as a simple filming trip quickly turns into a desperate fight to survive, where trust is tested and the greatest danger may be the darkness within themselves.
