Fighting for survival , thats how I would describe this Novel , in this Novel we find a black girl adopted by white parents, at first everything is normal in her life until she finish high school, she find out that she have no desire to study further or create any sort of business, nothing interest her , in all this her parents keep feeding her with medicin trying to stop her from hallucinating , they are unaware that those bad dreams and visions are caused by her Gift
