When Ndileh, an openly gay Media Studies student, is assigned to share a room with Melusi Zulu, a proud, deeply closeted rugby player, neither expects their tense, silent coexistence to explode into raw passion one drunken night. What begins as Melusi’s drunken mistake quickly turns into a confusing, addictive secret as the straight-acting athlete finds himself unable to stay away from his calm, confident roommate. Torn between his traditional upbringing, masculine reputation, and the undeniable pull he feels toward Ndileh, Melusi must navigate shame, denial, and growing feelings while Ndileh patiently waits for the man fighting his own heart to finally stop running. From secret nights in a cramped Res room to facing friends, family, and cultural expectations, their journey from reluctant roommates to something much deeper will test everything Melusi thought he knew about love, manhood, and who he really is.
