CHAPTER FIVE

It's his lunch break and his pounding on top of his colleague . He works as a manager at Woolworths and he has a lot of the ladies in the palm of his hand because he knows how to charm them.
He pulls up his pants throwing the condom in the bin , he turns with a smirk on his face certainly satisfied something Martina fails to satisfy him with .
lady : You still got it in you l see .
she says roughly chewing on her chappies , pulling up her pantyhose too .
Him : I never disappoint you know muc , that's why you always after me .
lady : Don't flutter yourself Kuda , it's always the other way around . Everyone knows how much you love skirts .
Him : What can l say , lm a man with needs and only y'all can satisfy me . Anyways let's head back to work , lunch is over .
lady : After you Mr .
He chuckles walking out , the lady walk towards the bi grabbing the used condom and immediately runs the the toilet in a jolly mood .
After a few hours of working , he is now seated in a room with Nina his councilor .
Nina : How are you feeling today ?
Him: Pretty good l guess .
he says rubbing on his chin
Nina : ls it ? Did you and your wife fight again yesterday .
Him : (chuckles ) You know just yesterday when I got home she wasn't there , when l questioned her about her whereabouts she lied right into my face .
Nina : so you laid your hands on her .
Him : Well she kind of deserved it , she even wanted to kill herself yesterday. l told her to go on but l knew she wouldn't dare do that because she has kids to think of .
Nina : And you don't have kids to think of ?Mr Moyo you are ruining your wives mental health and you come hear and blame your actions on her do you think that is fair . Okay let's say she indeed committed suicide , what were you going to do ?
He opens his mouth to reply but nothing comes out .
Nina : You see Mr Moyo you need that woman in your life . The way you treating her is not good at all even for the kids , the environment they're in is not good for them . You are already traumatizing they're young minds by already in their presence . lf you feel like your wife is useless do her a favour and leave her because she might end up in a casket because of you.
Him : that woman needs me .
Nina : you are taking advantage of her vulnerability , but one day she's going to rise from your clutches while you drown in your own sarrows .
Him : you know what , **** this !
He stood up angrily leaving her office .He doesn't like the idea of Martina rising from her vulnerability, he likes her that way weak and needing .
He arrives home as soon as he steps in he comes across suitcases . He chuckles before calling Martina .She appears with the kids whom look ready to go somewhere .
Him : Where do you think you are going ?.
Martina : lm going back home to Harare .
Him : (laughs) and you think you can survive without me ? Did you even think about your job woman you will be jobless , what will you feed the kids .
Martina : maybe l won't survive without you but lm willing to try and lf l die atleast l'll die with my kids not having to worry about whom l left them with . And you asking what l'll feed them ?(chuckles ) u are one funny man , You don't even buy any grocery but my kids never go to bed on an empty stomach all because l do my best to hustle for my kids . Atleast lm carrying my burden unlike you , now please move out of my way .
Him : With pleasure .
She gives him one last look ,but he just couldn't care less . She took her suitcases walking out .
