CHAPTER 10
KHWEZI
I'm waiting for Ore to get home so we can have a serious talk .She walked into the living room, finding me sitting on the couch, a warm smile on her face."Ore, sit down. We need to talk," Khwezi said, patting the cushion beside her.
She sat down, feeling a sense of trepidation."What's up, Mom? ”
Khwezi's expression turned serious.
"I know you're growing up, and I want to make sure you're prepared for everything that comes with it."
She paused, collecting her thoughts.
"Intimacy, Ore. It's a beautiful thing, but it requires responsibility and respect."She felt my cheeks flush."Mom, I know—" Khwezi held up her hand.
"Listen, Ore. I know you're in love with Ngwenya, and that's wonderful. But don't rush into anything you're not ready for."
She looked me straight in the eye.
"Your body is yours alone. Don't let anyone pressure you."
I nodded, feeling grateful for her guidance. "I won't, Mom." Khwezi's expression softened.
"I trust you, Ore. Just remember, love isn't just about physical intimacy; it's about emotional connection."
I hugged her tight. "Thanks, Mom."
Khwezi led her to her room, closing the door behind them.
"Ore, I want to make sure you're informed," Khwezi said, pulling out a book she's been hiding.
"The *** Education Guide."
Ore blushed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and curiosity.
Khwezi smiled reassuringly.
"Let's talk about *** positions. There's missionary, cowgirl, doggy style—"
I listened intently, my eyes wide.
"And oral ***?" Khwezi asked, her tone matter-of-fact.
I nodded, feeling a flush rise.
Khwezi explained, "A blow job is when you—"
Ore held up her hand."Mom, I think I get it.” Khwezi chuckled.
"Just making sure you're prepared." She flipped through the book, pointing out illustrations. "Remember, communication is key. Tell Ngwenya what you like, what you don't."
I nodded vigorously.Khwezi closed the book."Love is about mutual respect, Ore. Never do something that makes you uncomfortable."I hugged her tight."Thanks again , Mom. Khwezi smiled."Anytime, Ore."
MPUMELELO
Mpumelelo sat in his room, staring at the matric dance invitation on his desk.
"Who to take?" he muttered to himself.
Lerato and Ntombi both popped into his mind.
He'd been friends with Lerato for years, but lately, he'd developed feelings for her.
Ntombi, on the other hand, was the new girl in school, captivating him with her bright smile.
Mpumelelo sighed, rubbing his temples.
Why did it have to be so complicated?
He thought back to his conversations with Lerato – easy, comfortable, and full of laughter.
But Ntombi's spark was undeniable.
Mpumelelo stood up, pacing around his room.
He needed advice.
Dialing Ore's number, he hoped his sister would help him clarify things.
"Hey, sis! I need your help," Mpumelelo said, explaining his dilemma.Ore listened patiently.
"Mpumelelo, what do you really want? Not just for the dance, but in general?"
Mpumelelo hesitated.
"I don't know... I like them both."
Ore's voice was calm.
"Then take some time to figure it out. Ask yourself: who makes you happy? Who do you see a future with?"
Mpumelelo nodded, even though Ore couldn't see him.
“ you could have walked to my room Mpumelelo , your so lazy ”
Her room is just one room from mine “ I don't want to bump into your parents I heard about the *** talk and ran off ” we laugh and there's a knock “ I just told dad you're in your room good luck on the *** talk ”
Ore is such a mood killer I open the door and my father walks in holding a book lord give me strength for this lecture.
