I couldn't sleep at my old place it didn't help that it smelled like Milani instead of my wife. My wife, it feels so good to say it out loud. I spoke to my interior designer, and he'll be working closer with my wife to make this home our home. I'm woken up by my ringing phone, and it's her. You should've seen the smile on my face. My heartbeat picks up just thinking about talking to her. Is this what love feels like? I like it.

Ndyebo:baby.

Lilitha:Hi, did you sleep okay?

Ndyebo:Yes, I'm just a little nervous. I miss you.

Lilitha:You'll be seeing a lot of me from tomorrow going forward.

Ndyebo:From tonight baby, you'll be sleeping here, ekhaya nam.

Milani:I'm good too. Thank you for asking. I need to see you.

Ndyebo:I'll see when I'm free.

Milani:I'm pregnant. Ndyebo, isn't this what you wanted for me to get pregnant?!!! I'm pregnant, bhuti!!

My heart sinks. ****. I wasn't thinking back then. I was so hell-bent on defying my brother's wishes that I went and got Milani pregnant. I like her, but I have Lilitha now. I can't hurt Lilitha like that.

Ndyebo:Okay. I'll come tomorrow and take you to the doctor...

Milani:The only time we're going to a doctor is when you and I are married.

Ndyebo:You're being serious?

Ndyebo:Good for you then. When you give birth to my child, I'm taking you to court. Anything else?

I get my phone and car keys before walking out. I bump into Dali and smile. He shakes his head looking at me.

Dali:you look like a husband right now bhuti.

Ndyebo:I know I wanted to talk to you about something.

Dali:your mother right?

Ndyebo:Yeah please don't tell me your ancestors told you already.

Dali:no I actually bumped into her a while back and she had alot to say.

Ndyebo:am I making a mistake?

Dali:you know I won't tell you that but don't get her even a tiny bit close to Lilitha we both know how venomous she can get.

Ndyebo:Yeah I'm definitely making a mistake. Thanks man.

Dali:please love her right.

Ndyebo:Milani says she's pregnant.

Dali:there's no dead cow bhuti so if she is it's not yours or there's no pregnancy at all.

Dali:yep. Let me go get dressed your bride will be arriving soon.

My heart skipped just thinking about her. I'm whipped that bit is obvious. When I get downstairs udabawo gets me my breakfast.

Dabsi:Lilitha will be feeding you soon don't be like your father go to the gym often we don't want soft bellies in this house.

Ndyebo:I know she'll love me with my soft belly or not.

Dabsi:You love her, don't you?

Ndyebo:You did say it's hard not to love her. She's just a breath of fresh air with everything I need in a woman. I fell.

Dabsi:I hope she'll catch you.
