CHAPTER 13
KEPTCHAPTER 13
NDYEBO DIKO
We're driving to her workplace with my hand on her thighs. She keeps playing with my fingers while busy on her phone. I love how smooth her skin is and how she smells so much like me. She looks up at me and smiles at me. I kiss her lips and carry on driving. I here a click sound and turn to look at her. She took a picture of my hand in her thigh.
Lilitha:Why so many tattoos?
Ndyebo:I love the little pain I get, and the ink looks good on me.
Lilitha:Which was your first?
Ndyebo:I did another one on top of it. Nzolo did my first tattoo, and it looked horrible.
Lilitha:I know how he badly wanted to be an artist, but he sucked at drawing. He would sit and watch me draw, saying he's learning, but he just never got it right.
Ndyebo:You draw?
Lilitha:Yes, and paint, but i love drawing too much it doesn't involve me getting dirty.
Ndyebo:You don't like getting dirty?
Lilitha:I don't like anything that sticks on my skin. I hate scrubbing. My skin gets painful. I'm posting this picture on my instagram.
Ndyebo:Okay. Is that why you don't have any tattoos?
Lilitha:That and the fact that ndiligwala.
I laugh, kissing her forehead. I've never come to her store but it looks beautiful from the outside. I park at the visitors' parking and get out to open the door for her. She smiles, taking my hand.
Lilitha:A girl could get used to this. Princess treatment and all.
Ndyebo:You'll be getting it until we get old and grey, sweetheart.
I kiss her as we walk inside her store. There are two police officers inside they have Milani detained. She creamed cursing at me.
Milani:You went on and married her, didn't you?!! Is that why you weren't taking my calls?!! You're a bitch Ndyebo!!!! **** you and that rachet wife of yours!!
Ndyebo:you can take her in officer.
Milani:what?!! Ndyebo baby please I can't spend the night in jail. Ndyebo baby!!!
They take her away I only release a sigh once she's outside. I turn to look at Lilitha she's typing something on her phone. She looks up at me.
Lilitha:I just texted a cleaning company. You can go I'll wait for them.
Ndyebo:I'm going to help its partly my fault anyways.
We clean up the cleaning company also arrives. It only takes two hours for everything to be in its place.
Ndyebo:how much is all this?
"1.5k sir."
Ndyebo:okay give me your banking details.
Once I'm done making payment I take my leave with the promise to come and pick up Lily when she's done with work. I drive back home and find my father sitting on the outside porch reading a newspaper.
Diko:nyana you look happy.
