I look at my sister through the mirror as the make-up artist finishes up her face. She looks beautiful tonight, is her bachelorette party. She's a beautiful woman slim and tall. We do look alike, but I'm not as slim as her. One of the reasons she doesn't like me much. I have hips and a **** but at this moment, she's at her happiest she's getting married before me. I really don't care about that. Marriage? Not that much. I'm just looking forward to my graduation. My only worry is that I won't be looking as extravagant as everyone else. It's no secret, ekhaya. we're not that well off, and my aunt would rather do things for my sister than me. I'm not an investment in her words, not mine.

"How do I look, Olona?"

She asks with a grin on her face. She looks so much like our mother. I wish she'd make better choices, though, and not let our aunt bully her into doing all this. I'm happy for her. Trust me, I am, but I just don't trust that man.

"You look as beautiful as an angel, sweetheart. "

She blushes, looking away, and our aunt scoffs, pouring herself champagne. The way she's holding that champagne flute glass has me giggling a little. She throws a death stare towards me, and I zip it.

The door opens, and two of my sister's friends come in screaming their lungs out, and that's my turn to live. I take my small bag and give my sister a kiss before walking out. She wanted me to come with them, but I'd rather go to a tavern than a strip club. My phone beeps a message from one hell of a persistent person.

I met her a while back while job hunting. She's really loud and sweet and rich. I was mortified when she wanted to be my friend. Who does that? Makes friends with someone as poor as I am. I mean, ues, I don't show that much. nsfas really helped me a lot. Ohh a whole lot.

"There's an Uber outside the hotel. Come by, I'm waiting for you."

I smile. I can't help myself. I can just imagine her dramatic self writing this text. I find the Uber, and it drives off, heading to God knows where. I've never been to her house, but well, I know it's in those rich neighborhoods here in East London.

The driver turns eKidd's beach, and I relax looking out the window until we drive up at the Green estate. I mean, there are other places more beautiful than this apha Monti, but mna who stays eNkandla egalini, this is luxury.

The security seems to know the driver as they let him in after greeting each other. It's getting dark outside little by little. He parks next to a house, and I see her opening the front door. She comes up to me and gives me a hug. She's her usual jumpy self. She's always happy with this one.

"I can't believe you came. I'm taking you out tonight. You can go for now, Eza. I'll call you when we're ready to hit the road."

"Okay, Rea intle itshomi yakho."

"Hayi maan sies hamba apha."

She laughs, waving him off. We walked inside the house, and it was beautiful. I didn't want to lie, and I saw her two cars parked outside. The other is a mini Cooper she apparently got on her 18th birthday and the other a Mercedes c class in black. She has money. Apparently, her father is something at FNB.

"I got us some outfits for tonight, and no, I'm not taking no for an answer."

I sigh, sinking myself on her comfortable couch. She laughs, sitting next to me. This woman is beautiful bethunana. See what money does to people? I wonder where my ancestors are?

"How is your sister? Is she still marrying that jerk?"

"Yes, I didn't even try to ask, not too. They'll gang up on me, saying ndiyammonela. "

"Uright umyeke kaloku. Come I ordered some food."

I get up, following her to the kitchen we eat while talking. She's telling me about her crush on Eza, who apparently doesn't see her like that. She has a boyfriend eloxesha lomntu.

"I'm making my move tonight. He better not reject me, ngoba. I want him so bad, chommy."

"Kuthwa, take your power, sisi."

She gets bottles of savanna from her fridge. I did not take her as the type yesavanna. We get ready. I look hot. I'm wearing a summer sexy silver metallic sheath mini strapless dress with shuzia open toe ankle ultra strappy going out heels. The weave she installed in me guys I look nothing like my crusty self.

We take pictures which she posts on her instagram. She calls Eza who tells us he's already outside waiting for us. The confidence kum bethuna. It happens when you clean up really nice.

"You're defined keeping those clothes and that weave I'll get you the installation kit and teach you. You have to look the part babe when I take you places."

"I don't know about places but I would love to keep it for tomorrow and my graduation day."

"About your graduation daddy wants to give you money to get an outfit
